We’ve had a 2 (!!) weeks long break from PUBG. It’s time to prepare for the Grand Finals of PCS3 and define our strategy. The coach of our PUBG team has made up his mind about the potential in the team and gameplay. We’ve also got some insights from the athletes about how they prepare for PCS3. This is unfortunately the last event of PCS for this year, but we can’t wait to finish this season with style!
Omaken Sports aims to become an international leader in esports and gaming. The company was established by Joachim Haraldsen in January 2020 and has great ambitions for growth. The company currently has the world's fifth best ranking team in PUBG and is run by four employees from offices at Aker Brygge. Goals in the future are to establish teams in several games and leagues in addition to providing quality entertainment and building an esports and gaming academy in Norway.

We’ve had an intense week of Group Stage in PCS 3, but it was all worth it because we QUALIFIED for the Grand Finals! The result was expected and we’re ready to fight for the $200,000 prize pot. Omaken Sports’ PUBG team is directly invited to the group stage in PCS#3 and will be competing 13th- 18th october. The qualifiers consist of 12 games per group, and the top 16 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals of PCS#3. We’ve had a chat with the players about the tournament and life as a pro player after covid-19 changed their routines.

All of our PUBG live events have been cancelled because of the covid-19 situation. The developers have decided to replace the live events with online events. This means that our PUBG-team will keep competing with the world-class teams as they were supposed to for this season.
We are proud of the norwegian gaming community! Throughout a 26-hour livestream hosted by our sponsor Komplett, they managed to raise 2,5 million NOK for charity. That is a new record in Norway. The money is transfered directly to the Norwegian organization “Barnekreftforeningen”/Children’s Cancer Association.
“PR operatørene”, a Norwegian PR agency, enter into an agreement with Omaken sports. Together, we will put Norwegian esports on the map, and professionalise an industry that has been run by volunteers.
