ESL PRO LEAGUE PERFORMANCE UPDATE

12 March 2021 - Heroic won 2-0 against Complexity in their last match in the group stages at ESL Pro League Season 13, making this their 5th victory out of 5 so far in the competition.

The ESL Pro League Season 13 is a 24 team global competition among the best teams from Asia, Europe, Oceania, North and South America. These teams will compete against each other to win the ESL Pro League title and a part of the 750k USD prize money. The teams also gain valuable ESL Pro Tour points on the road for ESL Cologne 2021 and ESL IEM Katowice in 2022.

Heroic did a roster change after IEM Katowice, and Sjuush and Refresh have strengthened the team, leading to 7 straight victories and 0 losses.

Before the start of Pro League, Heroic won against the Bulgarian team Voyvoda, before they later got an impressive 2-0 victory against Cloud9, the second most valuable esports organization globally, according to Forbes. Winning both games means Heroic is now qualified for Dreamhack Masters Spring in April.

Heroic played their first game at ESL Pro League against Renegades after the successful start of the tournament, where they secured a 2-0 victory before meeting the German-based team BIG. BIG is currently ranked number 7 globally, and after three challenging maps, Heroic won 2-1. Day after, Heroic played against the Chinese-based organization, FPX (FunPlus Phoenix). The team is one of the world’s biggest and is most known from the League of Legends scene. FPX won the World Championship with more than 100 million viewers as early as 2019. Last year FPX acquired Godsent’s old CS:GO roster to establish themselves as a top leading CS:GO organization. Still, Heroic secured their 3rd victory in the competition, with a solid 2-0 win against them.

The 4th victory came against RedBull OG, before meeting Complexity in the last group stage match. Complexity is co-owned by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. After a very intense game, Heroic won 2-1 and can crown themselves as Group A group stage winners. Now waits for the Play-ins for Heroic on their way to the finals happening April 11th.
